How it works
Your international move, step by step
Quote & planning
We survey on site or from photos, clarify volume, dates and access, and send a non-binding quote listing every cost item.
Packing & disassembly
We pack securely for the long haul, disassemble furniture and keep the inventory list customs will ask for.
Customs clearance
We prepare the customs paperwork for your household effects – form 18.44 when you move into Switzerland – and take care of clearance at the border.
Transport & setup
We drive your belongings door to door, carry everything into the new home and reassemble the furniture.
Customs
Customs when you move across the border
When you move across the border, your household goods are cleared as personal household effects (Übersiedlungsgut). Moving into Switzerland, items you have personally used for at least six months and keep using are duty-free when you transfer your residence – declared with form 18.44. We put the paperwork together with you and handle the clearance. The binding details are published by the authorities:
- Moving to Switzerland – procedure and form 18.44 (Swiss customs, BAZG)
- Moving to Germany – overview (German customs)
- Household effects into the EU – conditions (German customs)

Good questions, straight answers
Do you handle customs clearance?
Yes, fully: we draw up the customs paperwork for your household effects, declare with form 18.44 when you move into Switzerland, and accompany the clearance at the border. All we need from you are the necessary details and documents.
Which countries do you move to?
By road all over Europe – for example Germany, Austria, France, Italy or Slovakia – and likewise from these countries into Switzerland. For other destinations, just ask.
What does an international move cost?
It depends on distance, volume, floors and customs handling. We calculate each move individually and itemise every cost – you are only committed once you confirm the quote.
How long does an international move take?
It depends on the distance: nearby destinations such as southern Germany are often done in a day, longer routes usually take a few days. We fix the schedule together in the quote.
Ready for your move across the border?
